Broccoli Yuck!!!!!

Broccoli

So just a few days ago, my oldest daughter (7 years old) happens to mention that she likes broccoli. I was not aware of this. So on Saturday night, I decided  to make broccoli for them. The girls (I also have a 2 year old) were watching TV while I was making dinner. I decided to surprise my oldest daughter and cook the broccoli I had in the freezer. So I cut it into little pieces, then chopped it, put it in the frying pan, drizzled a bit of olive oil in it, and some minced garlic.

I was so excited that my girls were going to eat broccoli. I hate the vegetable and will never eat it myself but it is a good source of vitamin C, vitamin A, folic acid, calcium, and fiber. My oldest set the table, I approached them all excited, and placed the plates in front of them. My youngest tries it and says "Yuck, I don't like it." My oldest just gave me a look. I reminded her of what she had mentioned a few days ago and she says that fresh broccoli taste different from frozen broccoli. I did not know this. Did you????? So finally they ate it and now I know that fresh and frozen broccoli does not taste the same. Does anyone have any recipes for cooking broccoli??
